Fifty years of "catch-up"--WOW!  OK here goes:  Dale and I were married in 1961 and moved to his home state, Washington, where we raised 2 beautiful daughers and spent forty-"one-derful" years together until his sudden death in 2002.  He was one in a million and I miss him sooo much.  I was a stay-at-home mom until 1974 when, late-bloomer that I am, I entered college to pursue a career in elementary education.  After graduation, I worked in the Seattle School District as an elementary librarian and first/second grade teacher, retiring in 2005.  Those years were some of the most fulfilling ones of my life--surrounded by children both at home and at work.  In July 2005, I returned  to Pensacola to care for my ailing mother and started an online quilt business at www.bearypatchquilts.com  Being back "home" again felt really good and I treasure the chance I was given to help Mother maintain the quality of life she wanted.  She died at peace in the comfort of her own home in 2007.  Now I'm back in Washington where I share my home with our younger daughter and her husband and son, my only grandchild.  Our other daughter  lives in the Boston area, but we spend time together once or twice a year--often in Orlando since we all love Disney World.  As a matter of fact, our next trip there is the reason I'll be unable to attend the reunion :(  :(.  We had already scheduled a Disney trip for early June and I can't also work a May vacation into the time frame.  Would love to hear from my old (don't read that as age-related) friends from PHS.  Have a great time at the reunion.  Oh, BTW does anyone else still have their old maroon and white Freshman beanie?

After graduation I married and started raising a family. I lived in Texas and in New York but came back to settle in Florida. I like to raise vegetables in my little garden. I love serious bicycling,stray animals and my grandkids. I do some artwork as a hobby. Accolades to Don Wakefield and Don Coleman for helping us connect with each other again. This is so great !

Graduated from Florida State University and returned to Pensacola.  Worked for twenty years at Mary's Corner Shop, a women's clothing store.  Then founded Sarah's, a high end boutique for women, and managed the store for twenty years.  Retired in 2006 after recovering from Hurrican Ivan.  Currently wintering in Pensacola and summering in Woodstock, Vermont.  Married, with two children, two stepchildren and four grandchildren.

I worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Pensacola for 23 years.  I worked in many departments but the last one, and the best, was Human Resources for the  H.R. Manager.  I enjoyed being able to interact with all the employees.  I retired in 1993 while my five grand children were small.  Now they range from 15 to 10.  Three live in Georgia and the other two are here in Pensacola.

Retired retail from Macy's in Clearwater, Fl.  2008. I moved here after my husband passed away playing in a Tennis Tourniment in 1990. Was married 30 yrs and have 2 beautiful daughters and 2 grandsons.  I remarried in 1992 and moved to Nova Scotia, Canada for 2 years.  I will soon be moving to Gulf Shores, Al. in Sept.2008.  Can't wait to get back close to home.  This is going to be a wonderful class reunion for us all.  This will be my first one.  Can't wait to see everyone.
