Flew A4's and A7s. Retired 1984. Married fellow naval officer Marty Johnson Evans in 1979 while stationed in London. Been following her around for 30 years now. She retired as a rear admiral then went on to be the President of the Girl Scouts of the USA and later the President of the American Red Cross. She mostly serves on corporate boards as well as the Ladies Professional Golf Assoc. We live in Alexandria, VA and Jax Beach, FL. We both play golf and ski as much as possible between travel. We had a home on Perdido Key Beach, where we also had beach rental property. We moved to Missouri in Nov 1960 where we farmed for 12 1/2 yrs. Moved back to Pensacola in Jan 1973 and have been here ever since. My husband and I took over Bell Marine Service in 1976 which my son and I still own and operate. I lost my husband to cancer in Jan 2008 after 47 1/2 yrs of marriage. Still learning to cope but God has been gracious and merciful to me. Besides my son, I have a daughter in Houston, TX and three beautiful grandchildern, which I don't see enough of.
