I am now spending my time actively involved at First Baptist Church Pensacola, where I have been a member for 50 years, pursuing my hobbies, and spoiling my great nieces who live in Texas. I can type though. I married John Stanhagen, had two children, divorced ten years later and in 1977 married John Reese, the dentist, not the lawyer. He had 5 children, so I ended up with 7 children during the summer. I retired from Amsouth Bank after 21 years and don't know how I had time to work. It's a lifetime of experiences -- 48 years of marriage with the same wonderful guy; two daughters and five grandchildren (including one adopted from India and another hispanic sweetie). I'm no longer the shy wallflower from PHS as I've discovered how much fun life can be. During the past 50 years, I've flown gliders, wrote a romance novel, became a published magazine writer, had dinner with Eleanor Roosevelt back in 1962 just before she died, stood on the Capital lawn for President Kennedy's inaugration, served on the City Council, Planning Commission, and School Board, and organized a Children's Theatre.
