In 4 short years, I had an M.D. degree, a smart, beautiful registered nurse wife (Ruth), and a 2 year old son (Meier). Meier is now an oil rig tender boat Captain in the Gulf of Mexico. After a Residency in Ophthalmology and a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology (more school) and 2 years in the U.S. Public Health Service the family moved home to Pensacola. By then we had our daughter (Brooks) who is now a Civil Engineer in Cary, NC. She has presented us with two beautiful grandchildren. I enjoyed the private practice of Ophthalmology here in Pensacola from 1973 to my retirement in 2005. It was great to have my career in my home town except for having to put up with the likes of Charles Cetti, Johnny Wakefield, Bobby Bell, and some of you other gomers. Send This Person a Message
