When working as staff in local operating rooms here for 3 years, I decided to begin travelling and took assignments all over the country for 9 yrs. Settled in Dallas,TX. and obtained my BSN degree and worked in the OR there until retiring and returning home to Pensacola just in time for hurricane Ivan. After retirement in the late 80's I moved to the mountians of western North Carolina living in the small town of Dillsboro which is 15 miles East of Cherokee and 50 miles west of Asheville.
