After moving from Pensacola, I became a flight attendent for TWA based in San Francisco.

I met my husband, Jim, a Marine Corps fighter pilot,  on a blind date and we were married 2 years later on his return from Viet Nam.  We will celebrate our 42nd anniversary in July.

After leaving the Marine Corps, the aviation industry took us to live in a number of states but  have  made the San Francisco bay area our home since 1975.  We have had a successful aviation business, Apex Aviation Corp. for over 30 years.

We have two wonderful children....a married daughter, who lives nearby and a bachelor son who also lives nearby.  Aviation is in their roots since they both had their first solo flights before they were old enough to drive.

For a number of years I was the cheerleading coordinator for the high school our children attended and also served as the chairman of the school's advisory board.   I also served as CFO of our aviation company,  arriving just in time for lunch.  There are privileges when married to the President and CEO.

We return to Pensacola several times a year to visit family.  My mother just celebrated her 95th birthday with all of her children and most of her grandchildren and great grandchildren there to help blow out the candles.

Looking forward to a wonderful celebration of 50 years.

After P.H.S, tried to play football for the "Bear" at Bama, didn't work out, stayed in school for 3 years and came home, worked at news journal for 19 years, served a tour in marine corps, was married for 16 years, got divorced, was single for a year, met and married a beautiful blonde who had 2 girls, adopted the youngest, have 4 grand-kids, 3 boys, l girl by the oldest daughter, worked for 25 years at Armstrong World Industries in Pensacola, retired at 65 and wife who is a paraglegal got a job in Birmingham, we built a home in McCalla on a lake, all I do is fish, clean house and we go to all the games in Tuscaloosa. Looking for a great time at the big event...see ya'll...Ronnie

I graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1962 and was President of our class. In 1963, I married Johnny David Martin (a Navy man from North Carolina). We spent several years in Germany while he was in the Navy and also a representative for his company. Our two oldest children were born in Germany and our youngest in Pennsylvania. We were blessed with three wonderful grandchildren. They all graduated from Penn State. After my husband got out of the Navy, we moved to Pennsylvania where he worked as a Director for a Defense Company. I worked in Labor and Delivery as an RN, and after graduation had worked in the Operating Room.
We also have been blessed by three beautiful grandchildren and they are our bright spot that helps us smile. Two to our son Scott and one to our daughter Kim. In 2007, December 27th, our oldest daughter Tonya lost her life in a tragic car accident. Our lives will never be the same and needless to say it is the hardest thing we have ever had to face. She left a wonderful husband Lou and a stepdaughter. We continue to try to support each other and deal with the heartache day to day.
Our son lives in Hanover Pennsylvania near Gettysburg and works for Snyder of Hanover. Our daughter Kim and her husband live near Dover Delaware and she is a teacher. My husband and I have retired and try to help our family. Please keep us in your prayers.

My husband John and I have lived in Woodstock, Vermont since 2003, after spending many years in Washington, DC and neighboring Maryland. I worked in a variety of education-related positions, ending with the U.S. Department of Education. John was a reporter, then editor for the old Washington Star; then spent about 15 years as a producer with the Washington Bureau of NBC News. I have two wonderful stepchildren, two adorable grandchildren, and two standard poodles. We LOVE seeing Sarah (Southworth) Brown and her husband Walter here in Woodstock at least half the year as well as Polly (Fulkerson) Magruder who spends time in Vermont on the other side of the state.
