After PHS went to college at DePauw and graduated from the University of Illinios. Flew airplanes for a while, and worked in the wholesale marine industry.  

I recareered in the 80's to IS and retired in Feb 06 as a Senior Technical Systems Coach.  I have helped raise three kids and they have rewarded me with five  grandkids.
I'm living the life Jummy Buffet only sings about in SW Florida.  I spend my days now on the water . I live in a waterfront home with a boat out back and Charlotte Harbor is but minutes away.  I also have a 35' cruiser at a local marina and am located very close to Boca Grande, which is the Tarpon Fishing Capital of the World ( of so they claim). 

Since retiring, I am wondering how I ever found time to go to work!

I do enjoy traveling and have visited  Mexico, Jamaica, and the Florida Keys along with some trips back to Texas. 

UPDATE!
As announced at the reunion (sorry if you missed it!) Sandra Johnson, formerly a classmate at PHS, and who used to sit behind me in home room and tease the dickens out of me, became my wife two weeks prior to the reunion.

At the reunion we were "fresh back" from our honeymoon in Isla Mujeres, MX.

So Sandra Mehan became Sandra Johnson again.

Life is good!

Marion and I owned an electrical contracting business for 30 years.   We opened a model railroad store here in Pensacola in 1995.  We sold the electrical business to our youngest son 9 years ago.

I married Don Jones in December 1959, and we have lived in the Pensacola area almost all of the time.  After years of working for others in Pensacola, Don opened his own business as a heating and air conditioning contractor.  He is semi-retired now.   After working in downtown Pensacola and teaching piano, I went to work for the Navy as a secretary.  I am retired after 25 years of civil service in the Pensacola area.  We  live in Pace, FL, with our dachsund, Lucy.   We will celebrate 50 years of marriage in 2009.  We have three daughters:  Donna, Jeanine, and Karen.   We have two  grandsons and three granddaughters.  Donna received a kidney transplant on November 12, 2008, at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida.  She is doing wonderfully well and we give God all the glory for this miracle in our life.  She received a donor match from the West coast.  We are very moved by this "gift" of extended life for her.  Karen teaches math and works with the IB program at Rutherford High School in Panama City, FL.  Our middle daughter, Jeanine, is a Special Education Liaison for the Santa Rosa County school system.  Our older grandson is attending University of Central Florida in Orlando.  We have been active in churches in the area and are currently involved at Immanuel Baptist Church in Pace.

After gaduation, began working at C & P bank and attending PJC.  I married Bill Jones (PHS'54). He was just getting out of the Navy where he served as an officer.  We are now both retired from the State of Florida.  He was a math teacher and coach the greatest part of his career at EHS.  I worked as an Accounting Specialist in the Payroll Office at PJC for 36 years.  We have one daughter, Debra, and 3 wonderful grandkids.(ages1,3;9).  
I really do appreciate all the hard work that the committee members have done.  The website is WOW!!

After graduation, I went to basic training for the Fla.National Guard at Ft.Jackson & Ft.Eustis. Attended PJC for 2yrs. Worked in Saving & Loan industry for 17yrs. all over the southeast. Returned to Pensacola in 1972 to become a State Farm Insurance Agt. located on Warrington Rd. for almost 30yrs. Married Angie in 1983. Have 2 grown children.
