Looking forward to seeing ya'll at the big 50.  Seems like only yesterday that we were walking the halls of PHS.   What a wonderful year.
As for me, I married Bob Greathouse (class of '59, Catholic High School) and we 've raised 4 great boys.  Now I have 6 grandchildren, 2 boys and 4 girls.  Plus I'll be a great grand ma in April.     I was a stay at home mom, until my youngest started school.  Then I found myself volunteering at Baptist HOspital and now, 27 years later, I'm director of volunteers.  I love my job  and my extended family.    Two years ago Bob passed away, so now I spend time with family, friends, and work.   I love to travel, especially cruises, read, shop, walk the beach, and watching my "girls" cheer and play softball. If I need a little therapy, I take off and go to Mississippi and give others my hard earned $$$$.  Hope to see everyone at the reunion.  Take care.  ng

From Barbara Sue:
What a great web site.  You guys have done alot of work and I appreciate it.  Thanks

After graduation received and associates degree in accounting and worked at Florida National Bank.  Fell in love with a Navy officer, got married, moved to Mt. View, California.  Have six wonderful children.  Five boys and one girl.  Was known as the queen of volunteers at their schools until on of the principles wanted to put me on the staff.  Worked 20 years there and retired.  Loved every minute of it.  Now it's back to volunteering and having fun with the grandchildren.  Two boys and three girls.
Reinie, my husband, left the navy after many long deployments and went to work for Continental Airlines.  He retired after 9/11.  We haved lived in Colorado for 40 years and love it.
After I got married, my parents moved to Tennessee and I didn't get back to Pensacola much.  We've vacationed  there with our family several times though and they all love the beach.
We're looking forward to the reunion.  Don't remember many people but it will be fun.  One close classmate, Carol Stegmeir (Meyer) lives close by and we hope to get together for lunch soon.
See you May 1st.

From Larry Orion:
A big "thank you" to all who organized this event, web site, etc. and made it possible for the rest of us to skip down memory lane. What a kick! But honestly, who in the heck are all you people? Did I really know you, and go to school with you? Sadly, I must say my high school memories are just a blur. I left Pensacola in 1961, and never looked back. My career started shortly after high school when I started working for the Boeing Company at Eglin AFB. From 1961 to 1970, I also worked for Boeing in Huntsville, Al., (twice), New Orleans, La., and Cocoa Beach, Fl. From 1970 to 1977, I quit Boeing and went to Findlay, Ohio to work for Cooper Tire and Rubber Company. In 1978, I returned to Boeing, moved to Seattle, and here I've been ever since. After thirty three years, I retired from Boeing in 2000. I don't miss working and love being retired. The words "senior citizen" only evokes a smile. I have three years of college, no degree. I have been married twice and divorced once. I have one son from my first marriage and one grandson. My wife Linda, and I will see you all at the reunion.

After PHS I did a stint in Switzerland as au pair, and attended the U. of Texas in Austin where I met Tom. We married in 1962 and have a daughter (Sarah) and son (Philip). After living in 12 cities in five states over 41 years, Tom retired in 2006 from a career in banking. I have always been a homemaker. We are very happy to be settled in the lovely city of San Antonio. We stay active in our church, especially in mission work and intercessory prayer, and enjoy traveling. My two brothers, Gene and Stephen, live in Gulf Breeze so we make it back to Pensacola at least once a year. My sister, Berta (PHS 1958), lives in California. I'm so sorry to have to miss the reunion, but we have a "must attend" wedding of the daughter of some old and dear friends in Dallas on May 2. Best wishes to everyone.

From Tim:

My wife and I reside in the Atlanta area and have been here since July, 1990.

I married my wife, Linda, in Chesapeake, VA, October 1, 1960.  We have been happily married these many years.  We have two fantastic sons, Lance and Tim.  Lance is a GE trained Master Black Belt with two Undergraduate and one Master’s Degree, and is blessed with a very successful career.  Tim is the lead developer and Architect for a software company, and as well, is blessed with a very successful and enjoyable career.  Both of my boys graduated from Texas schools and reside in the Dallas, TX area.  Lance has three children, two exceptionally bright and handsome sons and a lovely and bright, and beautiful daughter. Tim has a 20 month old, daughter that is literally a cherub.  He and his wife are expecting their second child, on Christmas Day.  We enjoy being them, at least three to four times annually, or more often, if possible, and our grandchildren are the “apple of Nana and PaPaw’s eye”.

To keep this as short as possible, my work experience has been involved with major 50 corporations and their subsidiaries, providing Specialty Financing within the Fast Food and Convenience Store Industries.  Prior to semi-retiring in 2002, and starting my own Consultancy practice, I was the National Business Development Manager for Shell Capital, a subsidiary of Shell Oil Co. Prior to the years with Shell, I assisted in the formation and successful operation of three corporations;  one owned, primarily by the largest privately held company in the world, along with myself and other principals.

I have been blessed in so many ways, vocationally, but more importantly with the most wonderful family a man could ever desire.

It was great seeing all of my classmates at the 50th Reunion.  I trust that I will be able to, at least communicate, with my PHS Classmates often, in the future, and meet with those located in the Atlanta area.
