I would like to hear from any former classmates who are still living in Pensacola and are in real estate.  I have a rental home in Pensacola, but am now living in Washington state.  Would love to connect with someone who would be interested in handling either the rental or sale of this property.  Please email me at the address above.

I am truly saddened to see that so many of my upperclassmates have passed.  Simmons, Rooker, Nichols, . . . too many to name.  It seems only like yesterday I was looking up to them.  Now, I am looking up to them in a different way.  RIP, dear friends.

I didn't get a chance to thank those involved in putting on the reunion, but it was great and the website is such fun to go to. Even my younger siblings have gone on it to see who they knew from 1959.
Thanks so much for a fun weekend.

Hi, Everyone! What a delightful and fun site, thanks to the creative diligence of Don Coleman and Johnny Wakefield. I've been enjoying "catching up" on long lost friends and reestablishing contact after five decades. It's still hard to imagine that much time has elapsed--as it's said, when you're busy, time flies, and we've been busy living creative and productive lives. Since 1975 my husband, George, and I have lived in Yakima, Washington; he is a retired electrical engineer in nuclear industries, and I'm retired from professional journalism but still writing and teaching. We have two children and four grandchildren (one of whom is due in mid-May!). I'll miss seeing y'all because we're be in Virginia during that time, but I'll be thinking of you.

Can it be 50 years already?? Even though I only attended PHS my junior and senior years, I have many fond memories of the school and friends I met there. My husband, Joel, and I are looking forward to the 50th reunion. He was a Navy pilot whom I met after graduating PHS. We now have a son who recently moved to Pensacola, so it seems things are coming full circle for us! We were just there for the birth of our 2nd grandchild, Nathan Joel, born Dec. 27th at Sacred Heart Hospital.  We live on Amelia Island in the town of Fernandina Beach just north of Jacksonville.  After 44 years I'm back in Florida!!

Ye Gads!  What a mature group this has turned into......all those silver-haired "hunks" and "honeys".  I'm so looking forward to visiting with the other survivors of the 60's, 70', 80's,90's and hopefully, the 00's!

What a creative website, Don.  Johnny is quite a detective.  Thank you for providing this incredible means of contacting our classmates of '59. I moved back to Pensacola in '85 and am  teaching Spanish at Washington High School.  Looking foreward to seeing what 50 years has done to the last class before the world changed forever.
At the reunion, I hope to hear DR. Michael Arenson play the piano,  Cetti play the trumpet, and Connor sing. We have so much talent in our class.  What would you like to contribute to this special affair? Send in your suggestions to the committee.
Jeannie

Don you are doing a great job getting people involved!  I was in th 1960 class but know many
in the 1959 class.  I know you will have a great reunion.  Life is so good but seems to go at the speed of light.  Best wishes, Ruby Waid King'60 class.

Thanks Don and Johnny.  With all the work you guys are doing no one will have an excuse for missing our 50th.  I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and talking about the great class we had at a great school.  Also, maybe we need to think about some kind of tribute to those who are no longer with us.  They will always be a part of us.  Looking forward to see all of you.
